    The vacuum plate exposure machine is a device used to expose the printing plate in the process of making silk screen, pad printing and offset printing. It mainly includes two parts: light source system and vacuum system. The light source adopts ultraviolet (UV) light source. Ultraviolet light has high energy and can cause photochemical reaction in photosensitive materials. In silk screen, the photosensitive material is diazo photosensitive glue, and in pad printing, the photosensitive material is iron salt photosensitive glue. Ultraviolet light exposure can cause the photosensitive material in the photosensitive glue to undergo polymerization reaction, changing its solubility and physical properties. The vacuum system of the plate exposure machine extracts the air in the rubber cloth of the plate exposure machine workbench through the vacuum pump to form a vacuum environment. Make the photosensitive plate and the film fit tightly. Ensure that the ultraviolet light can be evenly irradiated on the photosensitive plate, ensuring the accuracy and clarity of the image transfer.
When the ultraviolet light emitted by the light source shines on the silk screen and pad printing plate through the film, the image and text part on the film will block the ultraviolet light, and the photosensitive glue will not undergo photochemical reaction, while the blank part on the film can let the ultraviolet light pass through, causing the corresponding photosensitive glue to undergo polymerization reaction. After a certain period of exposure, the areas on the photosensitive plate that are exposed to ultraviolet light and those that are not exposed form different physical and chemical properties. Then, through subsequent processing such as development, the non-light-exposed parts are removed, leaving the photosensitive polymerized parts, thus forming graphic information corresponding to the negative on the printing plate, completing the platemaking process.
