Identical fiberglass is currently being sold to Owens Corning, one of the three largest fiberglass distributors in the country! They are using it to insulate hot water heaters which can be bought today in appliance stores nationwide.
All of our insulation is 100% asbestos free.
Fiberglass fabrics provide benefits such as thermal and dimensional stability, lightweight, high strength and resistance to ultraviolet degradation.
Unlike many other sellers of insulation, this is not loose fiberglass. This fiberglass is laminated to foil/scrim/poly: first, aluminum foil is laminated to poly film with a plastic mesh scrim in between for added strength. Then that is laminated to the fiberglass, supplying you with a product that is durable, flexible, and tough. The addition of the foil also greatly increases the thermal properties of the insulation, which is why it is used in water heaters and other products that give off incredible amounts of heat.
This product is also considerably better than bubble foil, another type of insulation sold by manufacturers and online. That insulation is made of two pieces of foil with bubble film in the middle. Our insulation includes fiberglass, which greatly increases the R value of this product.
As you can see, our product has the best of both worlds, with fiberglass laminated to foil/scrim/poly to maximize the R value while allowing for ease of use. This product can be easily applied in any desired location.
It can be easily cut with scissors or a utility knife, works great and also looks good. This product can be used on floors, door panels, firewall, trunk, roof, hood, pipes and any other interior areas that need to be insulated.
