AiJiu, moxibustion, is a traditional Chinese medicine therapy using moxa made from dried mugwort.  Practitioners use moxa to warm XueWei, meridian points, with the intention of stimulating circulation through the meridian points and inducing a smoother flow of blood and Qi (energy). The philosophy of Chinese medicine believes in whole body treatment, the goal is to achieve balance in Yings and Yangs. Human body has self healing powers and moxibustion will bring out the power in your own body, thus a green healing process without side effects.  It is believed that moxibustion can mitigate against cold and dampness in the body.  It is especially effective in the treatment of chronic problems that’s caused by deficient conditions, Xu, weakness.

Moxibustion has played an important role in the traditional medical systems in China. Suppliers usually age the mugwort (typically 3-5 years), and grind it up to a fluff, then process it further into a cigar-shaped stick.  However, traditional cigar-shaped stick requires this practice to be performed by a second person and only limiting to one to two meridian points at a time.  AiAiTie, by (Insert company name) has resigned it into a self adhesive stick that you can perform this practice at home by yourself.  This enables the patient to use this whenever and wherever needed.
