1.1 Selection of Generator Neutral Grounding Mode
Generator is the driving force in power system, which must have the right ability to respond to sudden failure in operation, to which the mode of generator neutral grounding is closely related.

2、Brief Introduction to Product
2.1 Scope of Application
MRD-FD type generator neutral-point resistor cabinet is complete equipment specially used by generators in power plant which adopts high-resistance grounding for neutral-point. The voltage grade for generator mainly ranges 6kv to 20kv. When the stator adopts one-point grounding, it is able to limit the grounding current to very small value, and effectively restraint electric-arc grounding transient over-voltage.
2.2 Operation Environment
1、Applies to indoors.
2、Ambient temperature: Not below -40℃, but not above +40℃.
3、The altitude shall not exceed 3000m.
4、Relative humidity: ≤95%（25℃）.
5、Power grid frequency: 58～62Hz(60Hz System)、48～52Hz(50Hz System)
6 、The air at the installation site shall be free from chemical corrosion, vapour or explosive dust.
3.1 Parameters of Grounding Transformer

Temprature rise：≤100K
Cooling：AN
Protection Grade：For the production of paper insulation dry type grounding transformer, the protection grade is divided into IP00(no enclosure),IP20,and IP23(with enclosure) .
Insulation level, impedance voltage and no-load loss are according to relevant national standards.
Insulation resistance testing：high voltage-low voltage、 and earth≥300MΩ，and low voltage-earth≥100MΩ.
