VTC 6210-R基于Intel® Core™ 四核处理器 E3845 (1.91GHz), 是特别为列车车辆环境设计的。使VTC 6210-R符合EN50155 标准的强固，无风扇，紧凑型机制。VTC 6210-R在汽车和计算机之间，通过内置的CAN BUS 2.0B接口提供完整通讯能力。VTC 6210-R 具备丰富的PAN, WLAN 和 WWAN 无线连接。双 SIM 卡支持，VTC 6210-R 通过软件允许3个SIM 卡备份，以达到更好的连接质量。此外，3个SIM 卡 + 双 WWAN 模块体系结构可以提高带宽，为更快的数据传输速度。不只是数据传输, VTC 6210-R也支持双向语音通讯。配置智能电源管理，VTC 6210-R 可以通过引擎，RTC 定时器或SMS远程消息唤醒。通过整合多种 I/O端口和3 x mini-PCIe插槽扩展, VTC 6210-R 保持灵活性以满足不同车辆的应用需求，如信息娱乐系统，调度系统和视频监控。
