Installation and Maintenance:

b. The VX-LPRJ45E/DP-LPRJ45E is connected in series at the front-end of the protected equipment. The input of the lighting protector is connected with the Ethernet line and the output should be connected with the input of the protected equipment.

c. The yellow wire is designated to be grounded.

d. The VX-LPRJ45E/DP-LPRJ45Edoes not require special maintenance to operate. Please inspect and remove the unit if it has failed. A replacement will be needed if the protected device is operating after removal and bypassing of the VX-LPRJ45E/DP-LPRJ45E.
