The CAT6011 is a high-performance and low-cost single channel HDMI receiver, fully compatible with HDMI 1.1, HDCP 1.1 and backward compatible to DVI 1.0 specifications. The CAT6011 serves as the most cost-effective HDMI solution for DTV-ready displays such as Plasma TVs, LCD TVs and projectors while offering the optimum performance. Its backward compatibility to DVI standard allows connectivity to myriad video sources such as personal computers, set-top boxes, DVD players, etc.

Aside from the various video output formats supported, the CAT6011 also receives and provides up to 8 channels of I2S digital audio outputs, with sampling rate up to 192kHz and sample size up to 24 bits, facilitating direct connection to industry-standard low-cost audio DACs. Also, an S/PDIF output is provided to support up to 192kHz audio.

The CAT6011 further distinguishes itself from its peers in that a smart adaptive channel equalizer is incorporated, which enables operation at the highest video data rate over up to 20m of cable length. This feature allows the users to build state-of-the-art home video center systems that routinely route 10 meters to 20 meters of cable across rooms from a centralized video content source.

The CAT6011 could be purchased with integrated or bundled external HDCP ROMs -- each pre-programmed with an HDCP key that ensures secure digital content transmission.
