Spring Plungers are well suited for fixturing applications where pressure is required for accurate positioning and indexing of components. They are available in an assortment of lengths and sizes with an available nylon thread option to prevent loosening due to impact or vibration.
Both the ball type plungers and the pin type plungers have different insertion methods to suit any application, including: slotted drive, hex socket, and top slot (for use in blind-hole operations). Non-threaded plungers are designed to be inserted into bored holes and feature a smooth thermoplastic or stainless steel body using a stainless spring and ball. Many of the spring and ball type plungers have light, standard, or heavy end forces available to them.
