Roll out the paste on a non-stick surface or using cornflour/icing sugar for dusting.
Assemble the garrett frill with the chosen size of center and cut out the shape.Using a bulbulous cone tool, placed onto the edge of the paste, roo the modelling tool backwards and forwards to create a frilled effect.
Cut the frill to the length required and attach to the side of a cake using a little water.
When using the garrett frill as a side design, the top deges can be decorated in many ways.
Garrett frills can be used in single or multiple layer.
Additional shape and interest may be added to the frills by gently lifting each frill with a dry paint brush.
All of the cutters can be used separately to simply cut out basic shapes.
Tools used with food products should be kept separate from those used with non-food materials.
