Product Description
1、 Thickness of zinc: the requirement of the thickness of the zinc coating is similar in the world, the zinc coating is 180g/m2 for the normal section area( USA standard is G60, one-face coating is13µm), high corrosion area require no more than 270 g/m2 (USA standard is G90, single-face coating is 20µm. Since the structure element was wrapped in the maintain material, the corrosion rate is not so quick as people though. The corrosion is 0.1µm per 3 years according to the data of AISI of USA. CSSBI of Canada carried on an investigation the galvanized structure of 15 building in different environment during 1986-1989, and the result shows the corrosion surface is 0.44 g/m2 in the first year, total corrosion is 0.77 g/m2 in two years. Because the usage of galvanized steel is limited in China, so the general regulation is 270g/m2 with two-side, it is fully meet the requirement of the lifespan of the structure.
