AT Series
Application
To absorb the increased water volume when the temperature in the heating system increases. To compensate the water volume in water supply systems. An expansion tank is divided into two chambers by a bladder or diaphragm. When pipes are filled with heat-transfer fluid, and the operating pressure of the system is set, the fluid will occupy a given volume based on the temperature. This is where the expansion tank is critical. Without it, something would blow! The expansion tank allows the fluid to safely expand by compressing the air in chamber.
Structure
This working station includes main body、bladder and water inlet/outlet and air inlet. It is made of stainless steel or baked-enamel coating carbon steel; the bladder is made of EPDM or butyl rubber; the compressed air has been filled before the product leaving the factory.
Principle of work
When bladder is filled with heat-transfer fluid, the nitrogen is pressed, so its pressure is rising until arrives at the same level with the water pressure, water filling stop. When water run off, the pressure is reduced, the expanded air force the water to feed system, and stop until the pressure arrives at the same level with the pressure of water.
Installation
In heating system such as air-conditioner、boiler、heat pump etc, installed in the backwater pipe.
Installed in the pump outlet.
