1215-1234 Series well-used water-submersible 3-phase asynchronous motors are of advanced technical products, which improved on the base of technology imported from Germany. The motors matched with submersible pump to form pump set and are separately used in 150-400 mm well diameter of deep-well to drive the water-submersible pump to lift underground water for plants, mines, agricultural drainage and irrigation as well as for city living water required.

1215-1234 series water-submersible three phase asynchronous motors are water filled and sealed construction.

Typically the motor is comprised of stator, rotor, thrust bearing, guide bearings, diaphragm and seals. Stator windings are wound with especially insulated water-resistant winding wire which ensures extremely high dielectric strength and heat resistance. Rotor is of squirrel-cage type. Thrust bearing and guide bearings are made of extra-strong and wear-resistant material, suitable for water lubrication. The thrust bearing is of special construction, thus the capability of taking pump axial thrust is greatly strengthened. An excellent sealing device is installed at the shaft extension side to prevent the entrance of well water into motor. An elastic rubber diaphragm is installed at the bottom to equalize the motor’s internal water contraction expansion pressure with the well water submergence pressure.

Because of reasonable design and simple construction, the motors possess characteristics of low noise, excellent performance, high efficiency, dependable service ability and easy maintenance. In addition, owing to adoption of new types of bearing structure and materials, the motors are able to bear a bigger axial force, so as to guarantee the service life of the motors.
