T542 Automatic Transmission Conditioner

Higher mileage cars and trucks have special needs. Over time, these vehicles’ transmissions age, and often leaks, rust and corrosion and deposits form. In addition, the transmission fluid must tolerate more and more heat. As a result, the automatic transmission fluid loses its properties, leaving the transmission more susceptible to damage from heat and severe operating conditions.
TREVOR Automatic Transmission Conditioner has been formulated to combat the long-term effects of heat in higher mileage vehicles, helping to revitalize performance additives in automatic transmission fluids.
T542 will not alter automatic transmission fluid friction properties or change the shifting properties of the transmission fluid. It is ideal for providing an extra boost to the transmission fluid between recommended transmission service - a “tune-up between tune-ups”. It is also recommended for use during transmission service in which only the transmission pan is dropped to replace the transmission filter. It helps provide a boost to the remaining transmission fluid that is not removed during this type of service.
T542 is compatible with DEXRON-III, MERCON, MERCON V, Chr er ATF+3, Chr er ATF+4, or Ford Type F automatic transmission fluids. It will not harm seals, will not change fluid friction or shifting properties.
