1. Material

2. Shell Finish

Tank barrel outer surface cleaned out, without paint. Others according to customer’s requirement.

3. Tank Profile

Maximum profile design that maximizes volumetric capacity whilst achieving a low centre of gravity. CG is less than 95% of the overall width of tanker. Round welding seam in the middle. 100% radiography on circumferfence welding.

4.Design Code/ Vapour Testing

ADR Standard.

Hydrostatic test to 5 psi (35Kpa) on each compartment.

5.Capacity

24000LITRES plus max 5% Ullage. The minimum ullage required is 227 litres per compartment.

7.Bulkhead ﹠End Plate

7mm alum 5083 O dished bulkhead.

Bulkhead plate is allowed to be jointed plate by two plates.

End plate should be made by intact-plate without joint/connection.

All single heads dished and flanged.

All internal bulkheads have exclusive design sealing ring.

Degassing plug 3/8” on top ﹠bottom of each bulkhead.

8.Baffle/ Surge Heads

7mm alum 5083 O dished surge head. With (1) 500mm centre man way (2) 100 diameter top drain hole (3) 300mm diameter bottom drain hole (4) 50mm diameter at 3﹠9 o’clock position.

Baffle plate is allowed to be jointed plate by two plates

9. Main Beam

Standard features of a full-length main frame and diaphragm cross-members dissipate vertical, transverse and torsion stresses evenly into dished bulkhead.

10.Roll Over Coaming

Extrusion aluminium alloy in inverted ‘U’ section with full length sliding rail for anti-fall protection system.

Top of the roll over coaming to be at least 50mm above any fittings and 3/8” degassing plug at the front-top ﹠rear bottom. Tank top drain pipe to be provided inside tank.

TIG/MIG welding process for aluminuum and electric arc welding for steel

B. TANK FITTINGS AND PIPING

1.Manholes

3nos, CIVACON (P/N:SW111110) 20inch manhole with Fill/emergency vents, pressure vacuum vents, overfill holes and vapour transfer vent hole, lockable.

2.Capacity Indicators

3nos, ullage marker to be instaled in accordance to the regulation(not more than 50mm from centre of tank). The ullage marker is according to THT standard product.

3.Pressure Vacuum Vent

4nos, CIVACON (P/N: 610T), roll-over type incorporates with manhole.

4. Cleanout

5. Vapour Vent

3nos, sequential pneumatic control air vent CIVACON (P/N:1986SV).

6. Vapour collect hood

Aluminium vapour hood connected to the curb side coaming rail by 3” hose. Stainless steel hose clips as need.

7.Vapour Recovery Piping

4” aluminium internal pipe from LHS roll over coaming through middle tank to rear of the discharge area.

8.Vapour Recovery Adaptor

1nos,CIVACON (P/N: 611T) or equivalent vapour recovery adaptor with pneumatic vapour interlock valve and dust cap CIVACON (P/N: 1711T-3”). Install at rear of the discharge area.

9. Vapour Dump Vent

1nos, 3” CIVACON (P/N:1986SV) (P/N:1985SV) or equivalent coming vent air operated. Install at the rear of roll over coaming(LHS), vented to atmosphere. Dump vent close when the vapour adaptor is activated. Install on inner side of coaming

10.Emergency Valve

3nos, 3” CIVACON (P/N: EURO-100-1-S) (P/N: VA6162), or equivalent aluminium, pneumatic controlled emergency valve at all compartments.

3nos, 4” CIVACON(P/N VA6162), or equivalent aluminium, pneumatic controlled emergency valve at other compartments.

Flange coupling to discharge pipe, viton seal ﹠stainless trim. Slash shield vortex breaker over each foot valve. Can be manually opened if necessary.

11.Piping

4” alum discharge pipe to the left hand side of trailer with minimum number of bends. Piping to be hydro-statically tested. All piping bends from formed pipe no prefabricated bends. The piping slope toward front at angle of 2°(minimum 1.5°)

13.Loading ﹠Discharge Faucet

3nos, CIVACON (P/N: 861BA) or equivalent API adaptor c/w flange type sight glass LIQUIP(P/N:BF4-SG-40) ﹠ dust cap CIVACON (P/N: 875) on the kerb side at centre of tanker at 0°angle. The offset distance from centre to centre of API is 330mm. The APT adaptor to be seal with mechanical sealing system.

14. Accessories

3nos, THT rotary product indicator mounted on API adaptor. (8 sided indicator allows only one grade to be visible at a time)

4nos, ITG API locking bracket.

Compartment number and capacity indicator for each compartment to be installed near discharge faucets.

Compartment capacity to be decaled on rollover coaming beside each compartment(both sides)

15.Control System

Pneumatic type control system. Alfon Haar 3 compartment pneumatic control block(1nos, P/N: PST3A & 4nos, P/N: PST2A) complete with pressure gauge﹠air service unit. Place in control box on left hand side c/w interlock system.

System includes:

Control box must have a master switch that provides air to all compartment bottom valves controls, Acts as an Emergency Cut-off Switch in addition to switches at front and rear.

1) Emergency valve control.

2) Vapour vent and dump vent control.

3) Emergency cut off with three cut off switches, one at front left hand side, one at rear right hand side of trailer and one at right hand side of trailer at compartment 2.

All air piping and brake interlock system air to flow through filter Synflex or equal tubing with long nut compression fittings.

16.Overfill Prevention

3nos, CIVACON (P/N: 1112) or equivalent 5 wire optic probe installed to manhole cover and 1no, CIVACON (P/N: 4102), or equivalent, 6 pin, 3J slot to be installed at LHS above vapour recovery adpator. Probe need to be set at 25mm above top full ullage marker in each compartment.

Truck plug socket must be placed in position where it is covered by security guard ba when lowered.

17. Interlock Bar

Security guard bar across discharge faucets to interlock with trailer brakes. System has locking device to prevent bar rising while trailer is in motion.System has locking device to lock bar in open position. The interlock bar should be same wide as mudguard.

With following safety brake locking syetem.

1) When the bar is not closed properly, the brake is locked

2) When the vapour recovery adaptor is actuated, the brake is locked

3) When control box is opened, the brakes are locked.

4) When ladder gate is opened (handrail still not come down), the brakes are locked.

5) Emergency cut off switch will close the footvalve ﹠air vent to stop the operation (loading or unloading)

1.Ladder

Detachable, aluminium fabrication rung with 12” distance between mounted at front centre of tanker with minimum 150mm toehold clearance c/w gate for pneumatic handrail.

Ladder to have secondery knurled, unobstructed handrails with a distance of 27” between the handrail. Angle ladder towards tank(botttom out, top in)approx 10°

2. Walkway

Aluminium grating walkway between roll over coaming c/w alum, Pneumatic collapsible handrail.

3.Hose Carriers

2nos, hose carrier(round tubes) to fit 4”×3 meter hose close type complete with brackets to be installed at discharge side.

Drain hole at the rear of hose carrier with lightweight composite hose c/w stainless steel ball valve to drain excess product.

Tool Box, Control Box ﹠ Spill Kit Boxe

Tool box: Aluminium fabricated, size; L=600mm, W=580mm, H=500mm. To be position at passenger side of the tank.

Aluminium fabricated tool control box to be posittioned at passenger side near to APT valve.

Aluminium fabricated spill kit box to be position at mid of tank on driver side.

5.Rear Bumper /Under Run

Aluminium bumper to be accommodate light asssembly and number plate to cover full width of the tank. Maximum ground clearance is 250mm﹠150mm from rear most of tanker.

6.Guard Rail/ Side Under Run

2” aluminium pipe fabricated on both side of the tanker. With ground clearance of 400mm.

Bicycle guard assembly to have upper and lower tubing, spaced approx 300mm apart. Upper tube of guard assemble can be incorporated into brake interlock bar in area of API loading valves.

7. Earthing

1nos, Scully ground hog bolt to be installed in API side.

1nos, of earthing strip to be installed at the rear of tanker.

1nos, of grounding bonding reel(copper/brass clamp)

5mm stainless steel cable is installed at top (bolted) attached to manhole collar ring within 30mm to overfill probe. Bottom attached to tank shell double shell near to emergency valve opening.

8.Hazchem Plate

3 sets of hazchem at both sides and rear of tanker(red background, white symbol).

9.Spare Wheel Bracket

2nos, spare wheel bracket to be installed at driver side.

10.Lights ﹠Wiring

Standard front, side and rear. Comply with the road regulations and oil industry standard. All wiring behind fire shield is in conduit with vapour tight connections at all junction boxes. 24 volt system, 7wire. Conduit throughout and all connections made in junction boxes. The junction box to be location with top of cover facing up. No spliced connections . Install rubber ring at all cut through hole at cross member and outtrigger. All the switches are vapour tight.
