1、General description

Desulfurization system is our directional design for biogas generate electricity. It combined the actual demand of biogas generate electricity, then desulfurization and dehydration.The desulfurization use the combination of physical and chemical technology, the dehydration use machinery, gas water separation membrane technology. The whole process has high-efficient, easy management, low operating cost, and other advantages.

2、Theory of desulfurization

1)、Dry desulfurization

H2S was oxidized to sulfur or sulfide by using O2, also called dry oxidation method. The consist of dry equipment: put filling into one tank (the packing layer can be ferric oxide desulfurizer, active carbon desulfurizer, etc. The best is ferric oxide desulfurizer, because it has high sulfur capacity and low cost.). The gas go through the packing layer from one side of the tank with low speed, H2S was oxidized to sulfur or sulfide or iron sulfide, stayed in the pacing layer, and the purified gas discharged from other side of the tank.

2)、Wet desulfurization

Wet desulfurization has three methods: physical adsorption, chemical adsorption and oxidation. Physical and chemical method used in the retreatment of H2S. Oxidation method used alkaline solution to be absorbent, and add catalyst O2, adsorb H2S, oxidate H2S to sulfur. Wet oxidation method dissolve the desulfurizer into water, the liquid went into the equipment to mix with gas, the H2S reacted with the liquid, then formed sulfur. There are NaOH, Ca(OH)2, Na2SO4, FeSO4 solution which can adsorb H2S. With mature oxidation desulfurization method, the desulfurization rate can reach to above 99.6%

3、Comparison of dry desulfurization and wet desulfurization

1)、Characteristics of dry desulfurization

﹡Simple structure, convenient to use.

﹡Dispense with staff on duty, refueling at fixed period, one use one reserve, alternate operation.

﹡Desulfurization rate is high when use new raw material, may lower at anaphase.

﹡Compared with wet method, need refueling at fixed period.

﹡Operating cost is on the high side.
