Die plate heating medium: steam pressure of 6MPa or oil temperature up to 300℃ (PE 165-240℃ PP 185-245℃);

Working pressure of the die plate up to 30MPa;

Number of the die plate holes ranges from 50 to 5000 in accordance with orders and the holes diameter is from 0.7 to 3.2mm. Material flow channel is fluent, the ejection speed is even and opening rate of holes is more than 99%.

The die plate is mainly used to pelletize LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP, ABS masterbatch and other polymers such as EVA, SAN, etc.

WIDE SELECTION OF MATERIALS

PE granulation die plate is made of WC-CoNiCr material and has excellent anti-wear, corrosion resistance and high bending strength.

PP granulation die plate is made of new and high-performance cobalt-free TiC/NiCr cermet composites. This material has good wear-resistance, heat and corrosion resistance and so on.

 

NEW TECHNOLOGY

Granulation part and the body of die plate are joined using advanced technology of vacuum brazing welding and they have high welding strength, reliable quality and tensile strength of the welding σb ≥ 300MPa. Using the new insulation layer with independent intellectual property right can improve the thermal efficiency of the die plate and the quality of pelletizing.

 

LONG SERVICE LIFE

According to user's requirements and service condition, hardness of the granulation part of die plate can be adjusted to achieve the best match between a die plate and pelletizing knives so that the service life of the die plate can be prolonged.

THE STRUCTURAL DESIGN OF THE DIE PLATE

 

1，Granulation part has double-layer composite structure and can be easily welded on large area with the die plate body.

2，In the area of granulation part with no holes, several relatively independent regional closed structure of the vacuum insulation, ceramic thermal barrier coating structure are adopted in order to be conducive to increase the hole opening ratio and reduce the heat dissipated by cooling water and materials; (See the figure next page)

3，Thermal structural design of single- and double-channels for combined cycle heat exchanger;

4，The specially designed cycle heating channel makes hot oil to have maximal amount and have the smallest pressure drop, which can ensure uniform heating of materials;

5，The precision position of the hole design and processing can avoid deeper groove marks on granulator working surface so that a more uniform granulation are achieved.

 

Regional temperature uniformity and stability in die plate granulation region are important quality indicators of die plate. The less temperature difference in the surface of granulation region, the better the granulation effect. The use of infrared thermal imaging device detection technology can detect the distribution of surface temperature on hard surface of granulation region, which provide a strong basis for enhancing product quality, especially for designing heating channel of the die plate.
