All flatbed printers are with Epson advanced MicroPiezo inkjet print technology.

There are many models of printers with different print size like BYC168-2.3 (32.9*60cm), BYC168-3 (32.9*60cm), BYC168-4 (61*175cm), BYC168-5A (42*90cm) etc.

But they are same in printing methods and they can print same products.

The main differences of them are print size, print speed, resolution and minimum ink droplet size.

 

1, the max resolution of A3+ format printers BYC168-2.3 and BYC168-3 are 5760*1440dpi; while the max resolution of other larger printers are 2880*1440dpi. A3+ format printers are better than others when you need high resolution like micro print.

 

2, The Minimum Ink Droplet Size of A3+ printers are 1.5pl; while the Minimum Ink Droplet Size of larger printers is 3.5pl. So the print effect of A3+ printers is much more fine and smooth than others.

 

3, A3+ printers are faster than others. BYC168-3 printer is the fastest, costs approx 64sec for A4 size printing with 1440*720dpi, while others costs approx 2 minutes for A4 size printing.

 

4, A3+ printers are much stable and durable than others. A3+ printers are produced since 2002, We invest much more in the improvement of A3+ printers.

 

5, most of customers use A3+ printers, they prove that a3 printers are much more stable, durable and efficient.

 

6, compare A3+ printers BYC168-2.3 and BYC168-3 model. BYC168-2.3 model has total 540 nozzles (90nozzles / color *6 colors), while BYC168-3 model has total 1440 nozzles (180 nozzles/color * 8colors). The print effect of BYC168-3 is much more fine and smooth than BYC168-2.3 model.

 

7, notice please. The ink for textile is specialized Textile Ink, it is different from Multifunctional Ink (the ink for others except textile). You can directly change ink cartridge when you want to change ink with A3+ printers BYC168-2.3 and BYC168-3 model.

 

So if the print size is OK, a3+ printers are better for you, 8-color BYC168-3 model is the best
