Day 01: Xian→Dunhuang by morning flight
Take flight for Dunhuang and transfer to your hotel. First visit Mogao Grottoes with many finest examples of Buddhist art with a span of 1,000 years. Then to Dunhuang Museum with cultural relics that were excavated in the Dunhuang area. ( L D )

Day 02: Dunhuang→Jiayuguan by train ( B L )
Go to Echoing-Sand Dune, the sand dunes of Mingsha, offers fantastic desert scenery. Then move on to Crescent Lake, a crescent-shaped lake in the oasis. After lunch, take train for Jiayuguan( B L ).

Day 03: Jiayuguan 
Hike Jiayuguan Pass, the first pass at the west end of the Great Wall in China and go to Wej-jin Mural Tombs that is a big tomb group with over 1,400 tombs. Then move to Suspension Great Wall, a 231 meter long section, with an obliquity of 45 degrees, built onto a 150m high ridge. ( B L D )

Day 04: Jiayuguan→Xian by overnight train
First visit Wei-jin Mural Tombs, the largest subterranean art gallery in the world. After lunch, take the overnight train for Xian. ( B L )

Day 05: Arrval in Xian
Arrival in Xian and transfer to your own destination.
