Product Description
GOSPELL's Ethernet-on-Coax (EoC) Broadband Access Solution is based on CATV+EoC technology. It enables sharing of single coaxial cable as transmission media between Ethernet data signal and cable TV signal, by modulating the Ethernet data signal and multiplexing it with the CATV signal using OFDM technology. The combined signal is connected into the households through the CATV coaxial network and recovered by the CNU (EoC slave modem device). This solution achieves the synergistic merging of broadcasting, telecommunications and internet three major networks.
Main features:
·Makes use of the existing coaxial cable network for CATV, for launching data services based on broadband internet access, and providing higher average connection bandwidth, more stable and reliable system, with stronger data processing capability than other broadband solutions. Maximum transmission speed could be up to 100Mbps.
·Adopted mature OFDM technology, with better anti-interference capability and stability. The system has outstanding pass-through performance, therefore lowers the requirement of network quality for long distance transmission, the maximum transmission distance in the CATV coaxial network could be up to 700 meters. And it also requires minimum maintenance, and has longer life span at the same time.
·EoC technology is completely in compatible with the cable TV transmission network infrastructure, hence requires minimal cost and effort for network upgrade, for launching broadband services.
·The system construction could be in a step-by-step manner, in accordance with the size of subscriptions. Starting from residence to each building blocks, with the progressive implementation, and finally achieves 100% coverage of internet access to every household.
·Support WEB, SNMP and QoS; complies with EoC network management standard from SARFT, support DHCP; support remote operations such as service management, device online monitoring and control, dynamic bandwidth control, auto-upgrade, VLAN priority control, etc.
