The biomass granular fuel produced by our company is sawdust processed via professional machining and compression molding to change its density, strength, and combustion performance. The big density of the molded fuel makes the loose material "compact without clearance", thus limiting the overflow rate of the volatile matter and prolonging its combustion time. Most of the combustion reaction only happen on the surface of the molding fuel. The specification of the granule is 2-3cm in length, 8mm in diameter (which can tailor the needs of big customers for 6, 8, 10, 12 mm), high calorific value (kcal/kg) 4730, moisture content 10%, density (kg/m3) > 1.12, Ash (%)﹤1.5, and total sulfur (%)﹤0.03. Full and enough supply of air by the furnace and few loss of unburned volatile molecular reduce the black smoke. Since the molding fuel is dense, the carbon structure left after the volatile matter overflows is relatively denser and can not be disintegrated by the moving air, so the charcoal burning can be fully made use of. In the combustion it can be clearly observed that the blue flame wrapps around the bright carbon block. The furnace temperature is greatly improved and the combustion time is significantly prolonged. The oxygen demand in the whole combustion tends to balance, and the combustion process is relatively stable.
