Jaw crushers are typically used as primary crushers, or the first step in the process of reducing rock, are one of the main types of primary crushers in a mine or ore processing plant. The size of a jaw crusher is designated by the rectangular or square opening at the top of the jaws (feed opening).They crush primarily by using compression, is widely used in mining, metallurgy, construction, highway, railroad, and chemistry industries. Application of Railway ballast crusher
The Leiyue Railway ballast crusher is used in primary crushing for ballast production for railway.It processes various kinds of ore with compression strength not more than 320mp. It has been widely applied in area of is widely used in mining, quarry, metallurgy, building, highway, railway, construction wastes processing, water conservancy and cement production, etc. The jaw crusher is divided into the coarse jaw crusher and the fine jaw crusher, i.e. PE series and PEX series.

Working principle of Railway ballast crusher
The motor drives the eccentric shaft to rotate by the V-belt & the slot wheel, then the movable jaw moves back and forth to break the materials in the crushing cavity which is composed of fixed jaw plate & movable jaw plate and side guard plate. When the movable jaw rises, the angle between the fixed jaw and movable jaw gets larger, and the materials can be broken to reach the crushing target. When the movable jaw is moving down, the angle between the fixed jaw and movable jaw becomes smaller .the end products slide from the discharge opening at the bottom of the Railway ballast crusher
