The maximum capacity for the test bed is 1,500 tons,  
and the break test capacity is 1,125 tons.  
It can test an unlimited length of rope with 
 the wire rope grip at a maximum diameter of 4.5 inches.

This impressive piece of equipment is computer controlled  
with more than 30 safety check switches and sensors to  
reduce error and increase accuracy. Commonly tested items include  
wire rope slings; anchor chain; polyester, nylon, synthetic and  
wire ropes; shackles; blocks; risers; spreader bars and  
other miscellaneous rigging and mooring hardware.
