PTFE adhesive tape commonly known as teflon tape, PTFE tape or PTFE seal tape - is manufactured from pure PTFE granular resin. This kind of tape is tan or brown in color. It is made by coating a fiberglass cloth with PTFE (Teflon). One side is also coated with a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive, which permits these tapes to be used at temperatures of 500 degrees. PTFE tape with acrylic adhesive is also available for lower temperature applications where a solvent resistant, high tack adhesive is required.

PTFE adhesive tape is an ideal packing material which is widely applied in packaging, chemical processing, aircraft inductry and aerospace industries, etc.
