Deck-mounted, drop-in baths are easier to replace—if one can be located with the same height, width, and depth. With all of this in mind, it is wise to invest in as fine a bath as possible. Many a bathroom would not need remodeling if the bathtub itself were not in a state of unsanitary or unsightly disrepair.
