ECO-friendly Exterior Putty (ECO Exterior Skim Coat)

Description:

BA-13 is a powdered, high-strength, cement-based skim coat made from fine aggregates, special additives and synthetic polymers. After mixed with water, it turns into a soft paste which is easy to apply even on vertical surface. It is ideal for plastered and concrete surfaces and can be used for both internal and external skimming.

Where to use:

All the inorganic exterior surfaces of construction, including sand rendering, concrete precast, plasterboard, brick wall, etc.

Application Instructions:

1. Surface Preparation:

•The surface should be flat, smooth and free of dust, grease and other contaminants.

• A layer of coarse putty is needed if the surface is extraordinarily uneven.

•The new cement mortar wall should be maintained at least 14 days before the application of the putty.

• If the weather is hot and dry or the surface is porous, wet the surface with water and then apply the putty.

2. Application Method:

•Mix the powder with water and then use electrical blender to stir evenly.

•Keep the mixture still for 5 to 10 minutes, and then stir it again to achieve the best result.

•Finally apply the putty on the wall with trowel or the spraying gun.

•Mixing Ratio (powder: water): 25: (8-9)

•Application Tool: electrical blender, trowel, spraying gun, grinding tools etc.

•Application Interval (hr): >4 hours

•Thickness of Putty (mm): 0.8-1.5 mm

•Sanding Time (hr): within 24-48 hours after application

•Maintenance Time: After application, the putty should be maintained at least 2-5 days before application of the paint. Fierce sanding is prohibited.
