Pressure Increasing Drying （PID）Plant

Pressure Increasing Drying (PID) technology, it is advanced transformer vacuum drying technology originally invented in Germany, generated from SIEMENS transformer drying experience. It is mainly applied for drying distribution&power transformer and instrument transformer (under 110kV). Compare with conventional transformer drying technology, it saves 30～45% drying time.

90% of Chinese transformer factories are using PID vacuum drying technology. Per our experience, this technology is also popular with foreign transformer manufacturers, such as clients from New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Burma, Thailand, Vietnam etc.

 

Advantages of PID Transformer Drying Technology

1.                    With reasonable vacuum design, hot vapor is cooled in condenser, avoiding pollution of vacuum pumps.

2.                    During drying, autoclave inside pressure is auto-adjusted according to temperature of drying object. It creates best water-evaporation condition for drying object.

3.                    Drying effect is good; it saves 30% more energy than conventional transformer drying technology.

4.                    Heat is transferred through radiation and air flowing caused by pressure-changing in autoclave, there is no core-rusting problem.

5.                    Integrated with PLC and Computer, whole system is automatically operated. Temperature, vacuum degree and drying time are displayed on computer monitor. Processing data and historical cure can be printed out.

6.                    End judgment is decided by temperature, vacuum degree, drying time and pressure-increase-rate.
