I. Application:

DW45 air circuit breaker (hereinafter referred as ACB), is suitable for distribution network of AC 50Hz/60Hz, with rated voltage of 400V/690V, rated current of 630A ~ 6300A. It can be used to distribute electric energy, protect the circuit and power equipment against overload, under-voltage, short-circuit, single-phase earthing, etc. ACB has intelligent protection function, accurate fault diagnosis, good selectivity, high sensitivity, and can improve the reliability and security of power supply. It’s easy to operate. The ACB is in accordance with standards such as IEC60947-2 <<the second part of the low-voltage switchgear and control equipment: low-voltage circuit breaker>> and GB14048.2-2001 <<low-voltage switch equipment and control equipment low voltage circuit breakers>>, etc. What’s more, the drawer seat and related accessories produced by our factory is fully adapted to this product.

* Drawout type ACB is composed of main body and drawer seat. Both sides of the drawer seat have rails, above which lie removable guide plate, the main body is setted on the two guide plates. Drawout type ACB is connected to the main circuit through inserting the generator of the main body into bridge type contact on the drawer seat.

Changing the handle position on the ACB can chang working mode of drawout type ACB (indicated beside the handle):

"Connect" position: the main circuit and the secondary circuit are all on;

"Test" position: the main circuit is disconnected and separated by insulation barrier, but the secondary circuit is turned on, which is enough to make the necessary action test.

"Separate" position: both the main circuit and the secondary circuit are disconnected.

 

Drawout type ACB is equipped with mechanical interlock device, and only in "connect" and "test" position the breaker is closed. In the position between "connect" and "test" position the breaker can not be closed.

III. Classification, Basic Performance and Functions Description:

5、The performance and function of the overcurrent release:
a) With overload long time delay inverse time, short time delay inverse time, short time delay definite time, and instant function, the user can set the demanded protection features;

d) Ammeter function: detect the current of the main circuit;
e) Alarm function: overload alarm;

IV. Normal Working Conditions:

     1. Ambient air temperature: ceiling limit value does not exceed +40 ° C; lower limit value does not less than -5 ° C; the 24h average value does not exceed +35 ° C;

      Note: (1) When the lower limit value of the working condition is -10 ° C or -25 ℃, the user shall confirm with the factory while placing an order;

           (2) When the ceiling limit value of the working condition exceeds +40 ℃or the lower limit value is less than -25 ℃, the user should consult with our factory.

     2. The altitude of the installation site should be less than 2000m;

     3. The atmospheric relative humidity does not exceed 50% when the ambient air temperature is  +40 °C. Lower temperature, higher relative humidity; if monthly average minimum temperature is +25 ℃ in the wettest month, then monthly average maximum relative humidity is 90%, taking into account the condensation occurs on the surface of the product, due to temperature changes.

     4.The pollution grade is level 3;

     5. Installation categories: the installation category of the main circuit of the breaker and undervoltage release coil, power transformer primary coil is category Ⅳ, the installation category of the rest auxiliary circuit, control circuit is category Ⅲ.

     6. Installation conditions: the ACB should be installed in accordance with the installation requirements of the instruction, the verticalinclination should be less than 5 degrees.
