It is made by adding special active agent and auxiliary to high quality activated carbon, and mainly used for the fine desulfurization of synthetic ammonia, methanol, integrated methanol, methanation, synthetic fuel and CO₂ using for food and other production processes, as well as for the desulfurization of city pipeline gas, water gas, coke oven gas and natural gas.

Compared with other ordinary desulfurizer, YT102 has the following features:

1、 High desulfurization precision: ordinary desulfurizer, outlet H₂S≦1.0ppm, while, YT102 activated carbon desulfurizer, outlet H₂S≦0.03ppm.

2、 Quick reaction speed: its penetration space velocity is 2-4 times higher than that of ordinary desulfurizer;  for industry, the using space velocity of ordinary desulfurizer is 200～500h^-1, while, that of YT102 is up to 500～3000h^-1.

3、 High sulfur capacity: its sulfur capacity is up to 20%, which is 3-5 times higher than that of ordinary desulfurizer.

4、 To some extent, it can remove the organic sulfur (COS and others).

Three, Reaction theory

1、  reaction theory:

The H₂S in feed gas reacts with O₂ and produce sulfur and sulphate, depositing in the micro pore of desulfurizer.

Four, Operation condition:

1、   Space velocity: when H₂S≦10mg/Nm³, 800～3000h^-1; when H ₂S≧10mg/Nm³, 500～1000h^-1.

2、  Temperature：5～80℃；

3、  Pressure: normal to 8.0Mpa.

4、  Humidity: when removing H₂S, it is more larger more better, and best if it reaches to saturation steam; But it is forbidden to let liquid water into bed.

5、  O₂ content:  O₂ is necessary gas to remove H₂S by activated carbon. In theory, O₂/H₂S≧0.5 is just ok; but in the process of operation, it is better when O₂/H₂S≧3.
