GRADE A

- Bright color, smooth face, virtually no blemishes 

- No dead knots, some white knots acceptable

- No patch

GRADE B

- A few more white knots, and dead knots ( 3-5 knots/m3 )

- Minor splits 

- Patches: max 5 patches, each patch can make up for max 15% of the whole veneer and have the same color as the whole veneer

- No crack, no warp, no separating of the layers, no voids and short of veneer on the face/back.

- Don’t allow for pin holes on the face 

- No mould

- Holes of over 1mm at the edge side of sheets need to the filled, and kept the same color to the whole sheet.

GRADE C

- Allow for more patches, splits, and discoloration
