For Tablets, the larger magnetic ring socket attaches with a high performance 3M adhesive tape either directly to back of tablet or tablet case. Q: will a magnet harm my tablet or phone?

A: NO. Magnets have no effect on solid state electronics such as phones and tablets. CARFUL does use a strong magnet so use caution around magnetically sensitive items such as credit cards, pacemakers and hard drives. CARFUL assumes no liability for damage to such devices.

 

Q: How does the CARFUL magnet attach to my phone or tablet?

A: CARFUL uses a high performance 3M adhesive to attach to your phone or tablet. While the adhesive is incredibly strong and durable, you can remove the magnet from your device by swabbing some rubbing alcohol between the device and the magnet, weakening the 3M adhesive bond. Slowly, the alcohol will dissolve the adhesion allowing you to remove the magnet. DO NOT REUSE the 3M adhesive. We will be happy to mail you a new one free of charge if you email us.

 

Q: What if i want to remove the dash ball from my car dash? Is it permanent?

A: NO. While the 3M adhesive is very strong, it can be pulled off of any dash without causing damage. Again, use a bit of rubbing alcohol to weaken the bond. A bit of silicone protectant (such a ArmorAll) will return your dash to original condition. DO NOT REUSE the 3M adhesive. We will be happy to mail you a new adhesive free of charge.

 

Q: what if I get a new phone or a new tablet? How would I transfer the CARFUL on my new device?

A: The CARFUL 3M adhesive is designed for one time use . We will gladly send you a new adhesive FREE OF CHARGE FOR LIFETIME of product. Just email us at service@CARFUL.net and we will send you what you need.

 

Q: Does my mobile device slip or move on the mount?

A: CARFUL's design allows it to be positioned and hold to almost any viewing angle you desire. The TABLE TOP STAND holds your device at the angle you want. In your car, normal vehicle vibrations have no effect. If slippage occurs, simply wipe the steel ball with rubbing alcohol to remove any dirt or oils. Slippage will then stop.
