Self Regulating heating cable, also known as PTC heating cable, is a flat ribbon cable composed of the conductive polymer composites and two parallel metal wires and insulating sheath. The feature is conductive polymer composites with positive temperature coefficient "PTC" feature

When the temperature rises, its resistance will also rise, reducing the heat generated .when the temperature rises to a certain value, within the current semi-conductive plastic down to the minimum, with heat generated close to 0.
