The distortion and deterioration will increase with the longer distance and more channels. 1550nm internal modulation CATV optic transmitter, has the chirp and dispersion compensation inside, and improves the system index greatly. It can be used in the town where the fund is shortage and the distance is less than 10Km as a transition solution.
