STTW Graphite Packed Tower
Product Description
[Structure and Features]
“Liuleng” impervious graphite packed towers are usually used as a medium of heat transfer and mass transfer to improve contact between gas and liquid in such chemical processes involving corrosive media like hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid as absorption, concentration, distillation, evaporation, filtration and washing. Gas and liquid usually flow countercurrently in the processes. Heat and mass transfer takes place when liquid is evenly distributed downwards from the top and gas flows upwards from the bottom for the two phases to contact on the surface of packing materials.
[Technical Properties]
Design Pressure: -0.1 ~0.5 MPa
Design Temperature: ~200 °C
Specifications: DN 200 ~DN 3600
Executive Standard: HG/T2370-2005 Technical Conditions of Graphite Chemical Equipment
[Applications]
Packed towers are usually used in such chemical processes involving corrosive media like hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid as absorption, concentration, distillation, evaporation, filtration and washing.
[Equipment Advantages]
These graphite packed towers are suitable for treating viscous, foaming, low heat-sensitivity, corrosive chemicals or chemicals with mass transfer speed controlled by gas, and are widely applied due to its features of simple structure, easy manufacturing, low pressure drop, and good adaptability.
