This particular UL-rated plastic fiber cable is made of Flame-retardant PVC jacket to keep the core from being influenced or damaged by fire or any other harsh envrioment. It contains industry-standard diameter 1.0 mm plastic optical fiber core/cladding jacketed with a gray polyvinyl chloride material. Its overall diameter is 2.2 mm.
