This male BNC RF connector is specifically designed for crimp attachment to RG174 coaxial cable with nickle plated outer jacket. Customer can crimp attach to RG174 coaxial cable using readily-available crimp tools with standard crimp sizes:  0.255" for the crimp ferrule and  soldering  for the pin. BNC connectors connect with a twist lock, making them popular for RF applications.
