A fence gate is simply the entrance or exit point on a fence.It enables people, vehicles, equipment, animals and other things to freely move in or out of a location.People utilize fence gates for a variety of reasons.Sometimes, it is to keep out unwanted animals or creatures.It can also be used to keep cattle and other livestock inside a designated area.Depending on what your useful need is for a fence gate, they can serve multiple purposes.

Installation of fence gate:
1. When installing your fence gate, leave adequate space between two of your posts for a gate. 
2. Attach the hinges to your gate, one near the gate's top and one near the bottom (just like the hinges on a door).

Hold the gate in the spacing between your posts. Place some scrap blocks of wood under the gate

4. With your gate in place, use a power drill to screw the hinges into your fence post.

5. Your latch should be separated into two pieces: a more a complex catching mechanism and a simple hook

6. Situate the hook on your gate, and align it with the catching mechanism. Use your power drill to screw the hook into the gate.
