For UHMWPE / UPE / pe1000 UHPE chain 9.2 million guide
Product Description
UHMW-PE Guide Rail Overview
Because of the wear resistance and self-lubricating properties of our UHMW-PE guide rails, they make an ideal part to use in equipment that has a conveying function. We provide UHMW-PE material with several different molecular weights, these weights are 4m, 7m and 9.2m. The ground material we use for the 7 and 9.2 is from Ticona which in combination with our manufacturing process guarantees the highest quality. If you are looking for a particular color please feel free to inquire about it, we are able to produce a variety of colors. We can produce anti-static, conductive and flame retardant UHMW-PE products. Our products are conform with ISO9001:2008 & ISO14001:2004 standards and also comply with various SGS quality tests. Certificates are available upon request.
Key Advantages
Good wear and abrasion resistance
High impact strength, even at low temperatures
Excellent chemical resistance
Low coefficient of friction
Very low moisture absorption
Light weight
Healthy and non-toxic
Customized flexible appearance
Example Applications:
Guide rails are used in any industry where machines use chains. A prime example would be conveyor systems and packaging machines.
Product Specification:
Because of the wide variety of machines this would fit on, there is no default guide rail. However, we are able to custom-manufacture these to your specifications.
Properties of UHMW-PE
1)High wear resistance
The wear resistance ranks the highest of existing plastics, at around 4 times higher than nylon -66 and 9 times higher than the HDPE and HPVC. Compared to metal, it is 9.0 times higher than stainless steel. In an erosive environment, it is about 20 times higher than A3 steel.
2)Extremely good impact strength
UHME-PE has one of the highest impact strengths among different impact-resistant materials. It is often considered the best among all engineering plastics in this respect. Comparing it to other impact-resistant materials, UHMW-PE' impact strength is 2 times higher than PC, 5 times higher than ABS, and about 8 times higher than POM and PBT.
3)Self-lubricating
The friction coefficient of UHMW-PE is around the same level as PTFE. Its self lubricating properties make it an ideal friction material that performs at a reasonable price.
4)Excellent chemical erosion resistance
UHMW-PE is able to resist various corrosive agents (acid, alkali, salt) and organic agents (except for naphthalene solvent). Experimental results show that at 20°C and 80°C while the material is dipped in 80 kinds of organic solvents for 30 days, UHMW-PE reflected no anomaly, and its physical properties barely changed.
5)Excellent noise abatement
Our UHMW-PE products are suitable to be used to reduce noise. Some examples of product lines that can be used for this purpose are guide rails, wear rails and tape.
6)Excellent impact energy absorption
The impact energy absorption of UHMW-PE is the highest among all plastics. Because of this property, the material is excellent to reduce noise.
7)No moisture absorption
The moisture absorption ratio on UHMW-PE is <0.01%, whereas a material like PA-66 has a ratio of around 1.0%. Therefore, there is usually no drying process at all before UHMW-PE is formed and it makes it very suitable for use in wet atmospheres since all key values remain constant.
8)Excellent low temperature resistance
Because of the low temperature resistance of UHMW-PE, it is often used as low temperature resistant parts in the nuclear industry. UHMW-PE can perform under conditions where the temperature is as low as liquid helium (-269°C)
