Brief Introduction and Working Principle of the Open Mill

    The machine mainly uses two rollers with a certain amount of heat and relative rotation movement for the mixing plastication of the raw materials used in the plastic products. The raw materials are added on the working faces of the two rollers in operation; due to the different revolving speeds of the two relatively rotated rollers, the temperature of the working surface is also slightly different; then the raw materials on the roller surface gradually become soft along with the increasing temperature due to the heat conduction and fiction effect of the roller, stick to the rollersurface and rotate with the roller. When these raw materials enter into the gap on the working face of two rollers, due to the small gap between the roller surfaces, and the revolving speeds on the two roller surfaces are different, the materials suffer from the strong extrusion, shear, and kneading action; due to the complex motion among the raw materials, the raw material produces a certain amount of friction heat in itself; in addition, the surface of the roller also has the conductive heat. Due to the combined action between these internal factors and external conditions, the raw materials on the roller become softened and in mixed plasticization and molten state; in addition, the operator will constantly stir up the raw materials among the rollers, so that the raw materials can be mixed and plasticized uniformly. At the moment, the raw materials can be delivered to the calendar and rolled into the products.
