Hydraulic Expansion External Casing Packer

1.Application

It is an important well completion tool. It’s mainly used in complex oil, gas or water well completion 

constructions to realize downhole packing or pl ing and improve quality of well completion.

2. Structure 

Using expanding steel frame rubber as sealing element, it is a permanent external casing packer that 

setting controlled by combination valves. It is mainly composed of valve joint, rubber assembly, 

central tube, sub, coupling and so on.

3. Characteristics

1) Simple operation, no need to change operation technology.

2) Better adaptability, applicable to oil/water well with various conditions.

3) Valve system can effectively protect and exactly control setting of packer.

4) Big expansion coefficient, small diameter rubber barrel can seal the big diameter well. For example, 

70mm packer can be used in 7''casing and breakdown pressure can reach 28Mpa.

5) Small residual deformation. 

6) High adaptability to well diameter. It can change along with deformation of wellbore.

7) Long sealing section and reliable setting.
