I. Summary
GD-17144 Carbon Residue Value Analyzer is designed and made as per the national standard of People’s Republic of China GB/T17144 Test Method for Carbon Residue of Petroleum Products by Micro-method. It is suitable to determine the carbon residue of petroleum products.
The range of carbon residue determined with the instrument:0.10%(m/m)~30.0%(m/m). To the products which carbon residue exceed 0.10%(m/m),the test result is equivalent with the carbon residue tester(Conradson Method).
GD-17144 Carbon Residue Value Analyzer is also suitable to determine the petroleum products composed of distillate oil which carbon residue is lower than 0.10%(m/m).But it should prepare 10%(V/V)distillation residue by method of GB/T6536 firstly and then doing determination with the instrument.
