QUALITY:
The exterior of this case is made of a PU leather material and the interior is lined with a soft microfiber material. The stitching of the case all seems to be on point. The case itself has a professional leather look and doesn’t feel cheap and tacky.
DESIGN:
This case includes a magnetic removable wireless Bluetooth keyboard. (This feature will be covered in Functionality.) When the keyboard is attached to the case, it will approximately double the thickness of the Kindle. The Kindle is secured inside the case by a Velcro flap and the case itself is closed by a magnetic button snap. There is a cutout on the side of the case that allows access to its charging ports whether the case is opened or closed. The other cutouts for the speakers, power button, volume buttons, headphone jack are all exposed and usable.
FUNCTIONALITY:
This case features the auto sleep/wake function which has worked every time as a result of testing. The case also features a built-in kickstand on the back of the case to allow you to prop up the Kindle for typing, web browsing, watching movies, etc. The main feature of this case is the magnetic removable wireless Bluetooth keyboard. The keyboard is pretty thin and encased in PU leather material. The keyboard includes an on/off switch, a charging port as well as a Bluetooth pairing button that connects the keyboard to the Kindle. It is fairly easy to connect the keyboard to the Kindle, as we have demonstrated in the video. As for typing on the keyboard, the keys are pretty easy to press and type smoothly.
PROTECTION:
This case offers pretty decent protection for a keyboard case. The interior flap secures the Kindle in place very well and the exterior magnetic closure provides security as well. None of the sides of the tablet are susceptible to harm since the case is longer than the Kindle itself.
