Product Description
Octyl and decyl glycerate is colorless, low viscosity, neutral, odorless transparent liquid. It is stable in low temperature(freezing point:-10℃) and oxide. The HLB is 12.5. It is soluble in ethanol, isopropanol, chloroform, glycerin, etc. It is widely used in food, cosmetic and pharmacy.
Application:
Food Processing: As emulsifying stabilizer, special diluent, defoamer, antiseptic and essential oil base oil in flavor and fragrance, cold drink, milk powder, chocolate, baby food.
Cosmetic: Used in suntan oil, hair oil, shampoo, bath liquid, skin care and other care products. It is easy to be absorbed by skin for the effect of emulsion and stabilizer.
Medicine: As raw materials and auxiliary materials which is compatible with medicine. It is classified as GRAS category by FDA.
