The Dingshan Wall and Floor Tile (DWFT) Factory is situated in Dingshan town, the ceramic center of Yixing city, with a convenient transportation access. The Lakeside Road of Taihu is on the east, the national high way 104 is on the west and the exit of Nanjing-Hangzhou Expressway is near the factory. DWFT is one of the old enterprises in building materials industry of Yixing and it has received the ISO9001-2000 firstly in the peers. DWFT has also been assessed AAA level enterprise with contract-honoring and promise keeping by the people’s Government of Wuxi Municipality and the “Dingshan Brand” is known as the famous brand in Wuxi.
Its production involves: pottery split brick, water permeable brick, landscape brick, vacuum sintering brick, grass planting brick, road teeth brick, hacking brick, civilization brick and handmade brick. The factory has four push-plate tunnel kilns with an annual production of 1.58 million square meters. The products are made of redware, a unique pottery clay mined in Yixing, and combined with the scientific formula, specific technology to high temperatures firing form. The pottery has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, frost resistance, spalling resistance, non-fading, good water retention, non-radiative, soft color, natural Retro, etc. By virtue of the natural color of clay and the shrinkage difference after high temperature firing, a classic, simple, gentle and elegant decorative effect can be created.
