Honed tube is usually used as Hydraulic cylinder barrel for manufacturing and repairing hydraulic cylinders. It is known as hydraulic cylinder tube also.

Hydraulic cylinder tube usually is produced by method of honing or skiving & roller burnishing, using “Suitable To Hone” Cold Drawn Seamless Tube or drawn over mandrel tube, so it is also called honed cylinder tube. The machining method of the honed cylinder tube is determined by the size, mold available and the request of the customer.

Our honed tubing usually are made from grades SAE 1020, SAE 1026, E355 and ST52.3. Omong these materials, the material DIN2391 / ST52.3 is the most popular steel grade.
