Applications

· PE gas pipe is suitable for gas transportation on condition that working temperature is among -20℃～40℃ , and long-term maximum working pressure is not more than 0.7MPa..

· PE gas pipes are used for transporting natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (gas state) and manufactured gas and so on. The working temperature is among -20℃～40℃ and the maximum pressure of long term operation is not more than 0.7MPa.

Piping connections

· The ways of connecting of PE water pipe and PE gas pipe can be divided into electro fusion and butt fusion.

· The general principle of the PE pipe welding is that the polyethylene  is melting in 190-240 Celsius range(different grades of raw materials melting temperature generally is not identical also), then if the melt pipes can be full contact with the proper pressure (electro fusion of the pressure from the welding process polyethylene own expansion), after cooling can be firmly. PE water pipe, PE gas pipe and other material of  pipe, valve and fittings etc shall be using flange connection or PE/Steel transition connecting.

The connection types of PE water pipe and PE gas pipe can be divided into butt fusion joint and electro fusion joint.

The general principle of welding PE pipes is that the PE can be melted in 190-240 Celsius degree (melting temperatures generally are not identical for different grades of raw materials).Then if the melted parts are fully contacted keeping with proper pressure (the pressure of electro fusion comes from PE own expansion during welding), they can be connected firmly after cooling. Flange or steel-plastic transition joint should be adopted to connect PE water pipe or PE gas pipe with pipe valves and fittings and so on with other materials.
