In 2009, container rail-sea mode commences, irregular lines run from Jiangxi, Huanan to Ningbo port;
In 2011, regular voyage from Shangrao to Ningbo comes to be formed;
In 2012, regular voyage between Yingtan and Ningbo is planned; Chengdu, Xi'an is the scheduled next nodes;

Ningbo Port Rail-Sea Transportation Advantages
Ningbo Port Beilun port railway container freight station is located inside of Ningbo Beilun 2nd front yard of Ningbo Container Terminal(NBCT), with connection to national railway network via the node of Beilun and Xiaoyong. NBCT is the only port terminal located in front yard of the railway container freight station in Yangtze River Delta. The direct docking reduces the transport knot, save the transit time, lower transportation costs.
At present, regular line from Yingtan / Shangrao to Ningbo Port railway transportation is within 24 hours.
NPG and Shanghai Railway Bureau are forwarding to a cooperation agreement to jointly promote the Rail-Sea Transportation of "quality, safe, efficient and convenient" service. NPSEL is carrying on this strategic as a forwarding executant, to fulfill as a domestic first-class logistics enterprise.
