Brief introduction of tempered glass

Tempered glass belongs to safety glass , it is a type of glass that increased mechanical strength and the heat-resistant impact strength on the surface by physical or chemical treatment . 

 It is can also be classified into full tempered glass and semi- tempered glass in terms of the different treatment degrees.

Advantage:

1)4-5 times stronger than annealed glass of the same thickness.

2) Stronger resistance to thermal breakage than annealed or heat strengthened glass.

3) If breakage occurs the glass breaks up into small, cubical fragments, which are not threatening to humans.
