M.O.S.T.(Media Oriented Systems Transport) Standard was made by European 16 major carmakers together in 2000. The standard specified the plastic fiber optic as data transmission medium, mainly support the entertainment information application, thereby the transfer speed of the car information up to 900Mbit/s.
