•Preparations:◦Select hot knife blade corresponding to cutting use
◦Loosen knurled nut when device is cold
◦Insert each leg of blade and tighten knurled nuts
◦Makes sure that blade and cutting head have optimal contact
◦If both legs of blade are not properly installed and unit can't heat-up

•Cutting:◦Actuate switch, indicator light and blade will heat-up
◦Avoids direct short-circuit between cutting heads
◦Don't use metallic rulers for guiding blade
◦Clean cutting heads with enclosed wire brush
◦Please makes sure blade is connected to cutting material before blade heats up

•Caution:◦Always operating hot knife in well ventilated space
◦Never burn-off excess residue on hot knife blade
◦Blades will over-heated and be warped
◦Only operating hot knife when contact with insulation board
◦Keeps hot blades away from skin, clothing and other flammable materials
