Product Description

H13 belongs to the hot work die steel, steel alloy elementsis based on carbon steel is formed, the implementation of the standard GB/T1299 - 2000.

Mechanical properties

Hardness: 245 ~ 205HB, annealing, quenching, ≥ 50HRC

Delivery status

Brinell hardness (HBW10/3000 ≤ 235)

The main characteristics of

(1) has high hardenability and high toughness;

(2) excellent resistance to thermal cracking ability, can becooled in the workplace;

(3) with moderate wear resistance ability, but also can improve the surface hardness of carburizing or nitriding process is used, but slightly reduced thermal cracking capacity;

(4) because of its low carbon content, two times temperinghardening ability is poor;

(5) has the ability of anti softening at high temperature, but the temperature is higher than 540 ℃ (1000 ℉) hardnessdecreased rapidly (i.e., the ability of working temperature is 540 ℃);

(6) the small deformation and heat treatment;

Use

H13 die steel forging die for manufacturing impact loadlarge, hot extrusion die, forging; aluminum, copper and itsalloy die casting die.

Chemical composition of H13:

C:0.32~0.45

Si:0.80~1.20,

Mn:0.20~0.50,

Cr:4.75~5.50,

Mo:1.10~1.75,

V:0.80~1.20,

P ≤ 0.030,

S ≤ 0.030

Quenching: 790 degrees +-15 degrees preheating, 1000 degrees (salt) or 1010 degrees (controlled atmospherefurnace) +-6 degree heating, heat preservation 5~15min air cooled, 550 degree +-6 degree Tempering Annealing,thermal processing;
